Friends of Nunhead Cemetery Open Day

The Friends of Nunhead Cemetery are inviting you to their annual Open Day.

During the event they run tours of the cemetery, visits to the chapel and crypt - not usually open - guidance on family history, plus delicious food and drinks at their café.

  • WOODCRAFTING DEMONSTRATIONS
  • HISTORY, ECOLOGY & LOCAL GROUPS STALLS
  • PLANTS FOR SALE;
  • BIRDS OF PREY
  • TOURS OF CEMETERY & CRYPT
  • HOMEMADE REFRESHMENTS
  • CHOIRS IN THE CHAPEL
  • CHILDREN’S BUG HUNT
  • FRANCIS CHAPPELL’S ‘VICTORIAN HEARSE’ & HORSES SCULPTURE EXHIBITION IN THE MAUSOLEUM & MORE

 

They are also calling for volunteers to help with our stalls, tours and of course setting up and packing away.

FONC Open Day has many stalls run by local groups and other cemetery friends. Please contact them if you would like to book a stall for your group.
