There's a great day out on Camberwell Green full of arts of all kinds to buy, take part in, watch, learn, listen to and enjoy on Saturday 23 June.
Experience many opportunities to connect with local artists.
Some will be selling their work at the Arts Market between 11 – 5pm, while others will be running workshops or performing in the Poetry and Storytelling gazebo and Music and Singing gazebo.
Anyone young and old can learn something new by booking on workshops for Unmapping Camberwell, Art for Alexander Technique, Camberwell Choir School children’s singing and music making, and African drumming. Or just turn up on the day for fun with the paint machine sponsored by Haart of Camberwell, dressing up for Renaissance Selfies, make a mosaic or make-your-own Emoji balloons.
Pet lovers are invited to take part in the Doggy Dress Up with an Arts theme (could be film or book character, painter, dancer, or any way you want to stretch the theme) organised by London Animal Hospital.
And wannabe bakers are invited to enter the Art-inspired cake competition after which we give slices of cake to everyone on Camberwell Green.
The Art Market is part of the week-long Camberwell Arts Festival. For a peek at other events and activities taking place throughout the week click here.
