Camberwell CAN Meeting

Cultured to the core

Camberwell is slowly but surely becoming a thriving cultural hub and at this CAN meeting we want to showcase some of the institutions, organisations and people that have been instrumental in making it so.

Whether it be fashion and textiles, fine art, music, or theatre, Camberwell hosts a riches of cultural initiatives that are known both locally and internationally. This meeting will put a spotlight on these, as well as the organisations that are constantly changing the way we think about the cultural impact of London south of the river.

If you would like to find out about these organisations, get involved with them, or want to network, why not come along? You will get a chance to hear from local artists and organisations doing great things in the area and further afield!

We also have a little treat for you: The Blue Elephant Theatre is excited to host this CAN meeting and will launch its call-out for applications for its new residency programme at it. The Blue Elephant has four week-long residencies to offer to young, emerging arts companies, thanks to funding from the Idlewild Trust. BET will also share other details of its work and the opportunities it offer people locally.
