Introduction to Gardening is a 10 hour course spread over two days for adult beginner gardeners over 19 years old.
The course covers beginner basics and tips to get you started; good basic knowledge, technique and practical skills, a chance to ask lots of questions and get answers, as well as written information to take away.
With us you will learn basic gardening, including:
Choosing the right site
Seed sowing & care
The right soil and compost
Starting plants indoors
Pricking out & potting on
Transplanting and planting out
Watering, feeding, general maintenance & aftercare
You will also learn how to make a mixed planter that you can take home and enjoy!
Places are FREE* for Southwark residents, everyone is welcome and charges of up to £99 may apply to non-Southwark residents .
