A reminder that our final round of 2016/17 Community Engagement Programme small grant funding closes at noon on Friday 16th December 2016. Groups that haven’t already applied in 2016/17 may apply for community events, projects and activities starting from February 2017 that:

1) bring large numbers of people in our area of benefit, North Southwark & Bermondsey, together (note this includes East Walworth ward but not Faraday ward) and that give local residents skills, pride and the chance to shine.

2) can be scaled up, or replicated, across neighbourhoods in North Southwark and Bermondsey, learning from what works.

3) operate successfully elsewhere but can demonstrate that they can operate in North Southwark and Bermondsey, in partnership with community groups that are established in our area of benefit.

Groups can apply for up to £5,000, although the average small grant awarded in 2015 was around £2,400 and requests must demonstrate good value. Applications must be made using the Charity’s Community Engagement Programme small grant application form. The application pack is available on our website.

However, groups are strongly advised to contact United St Saviour’s by email or by phone to discuss and develop their idea or proposal in advance of submitting an application.

Many thanks
