The local NHS is holding this event for the public to hear about the future of health services in Southwark and south east London.
We want as many of you as possible to come along, hear our thinking and discuss what this will mean for local services.
The health and care issues we are looking at include, how we can improve community care and care outside hospital, how different parts of the health and care system can work better together to give people the care they need, how we can best meet the rising demand for services from a growing and ageing population and respond to the financial pressures this places on the NHS, and crucially, what more can we do to stop people becoming unwell.
Read more about how we have been working to improve health and care services.
How this event will work
You can visit stalls covering how services in Southwark are changing, including mental health, community based care, children and young people's services and urgent and emergency care.
You will be able to walk around these different areas and spend as much or as little time as you like finding out more information and asking questions.
At the end of the event a panel of local clinicians and experts will answer some of the questions raised during the session.
5pm - 7pm Market place – walk around, find out about our plans, share your views
7pm – 8pm Question and answer - panel of local clinicians and leaders from across NHS and care services will answer questions
