Southwark Council has proposed four sites off Rye Lane for redevelopment in the latest version of the New Southwark Plan (NSP). These are the Aylesham Centre and Morrison’s, the PeckhamPlex cinema and multi-storey car park, Choumert car park, and the Copeland/Blackpool Rd industrial site. The NSP sets the planning policy, and is an important document which will shape our futures in Southwark. It is out for consultation now until 28th April 2017.
This walk is for local people and will take us to the four sites in turn to see what is there now, hear about the Council’s plans and look at what effect the plans may have. The walk will end at Peckham Vision’s studio in the Bussey Building in Copeland Park for a discussion of what we have found and how to make comments to the Council.
Further details of the walk will be emailed to people who register. To do so click here!
