The next Peckham & Nunhead CAN meeting will be taking place on Thursday 9th February 2017 from 6.00 to 8.00pm. Peckham Vision have very kindly agreed to act as host on this occasion in their Studio in the Bussey Building on Copeland Park.
Entrance through the passage way at 133 Rye Lane, past the Bussey front door, along the Bussey passage to Staircase C, and to the second floor. This map might help if you’re not familiar with the location.
Do we do enough for our older neighbours in Peckham?
At this meeting we will be exploring how we come together in our communities to help our older, vulnerable, and increasingly isolated neighbours; at a time of mounting pressures on the NHS and social services, and less money for mental health services.
Find out about what's going on in your community and how you can get involved.
It is also hoped that representatives from the Peckham Levels initiative in the Town Centre multi-story car park can join us, to talk about the opportunities their initiative will bring for the wider benefit of the area.
The second half the meeting will provide attendees with a platform to discuss any issues that you might want to raise, as well as providing the opportunity for you to share any news and information that is relevant to Peckham and Nunhead.
