In response to topic requests at the beginning of this year, the next meeting, which will be at the St Mary’s Church, St Mary’s Road, Nunhead, SE15 2EA, will be discussing all matters of road and pedestrian safety. We are inviting officers whose specific remits include parking, safer cycling, air quality, pavement accessibility, lighting and school travel.
Several wards have money available for road improvements, so take notes of pot holes and overgrown pavements etc., and bring them along to be discussed in ward area workshops.
We will also hear from the GLA air quality officer about the challenges of reducing pollution and airborne toxins across London, and from the architects developing the Post Office in Peckham High Street (NOT Rye Lane).
Everyone is welcome, so please feel free to forward this invitation to anyone in the area who might also be interested.
