“I am writing to you to introduce the plans for the redevelopment of Eagle Wharf on Peckham Hill Street to provide a modern, flexible Digital Hub, alongside new, much needed housing for students at the University of the Arts London.
We are developing proposals for a permanent home for our Digital Hub at Eagle Wharf. The Digital Hub at Camberwell College of Arts is currently being housed temporarily at the Playground on our site at Wilson Road and is proving popular with students and local groups alike. We will be holding a special event on Wednesday 15 May, 6:30-8:00pm to update local stakeholders on our plans for UAL’s Camberwell campus including the development of the Digital Hub at the Playground and Eagle Wharf.
The event will take place in our dedicated community space in the Playground at the Foundation Centre on Wilson Road, SE5 8LU. If you will be attending this event, please do RSVP to the email address provided so that we know how many people to expect. The Playground is the College's base for a number of community projects including the Digital Maker Collective who will be on hand during the evening to discuss tech projects they have undertaken with local groups and to demonstrate the use of digital equipment such as the 3D printer and virtual reality headsets.
There will also be an opportunity to view the plans for Eagle Wharf and meet the project team. If you are unable to attend on this date, we will be holding a public exhibition on the proposals on Thursday 16 May, 4:00-8:00pm at Bells Gardens Community Centre, 19 Buller Close, London, SE15 6UJ.
To RSVP to the event on 15 May, or if you would like to meet with us to discuss the proposals in more detail, please do not hesitate to contact us on EagleWharf@kandaconsulting.co.uk or call 0203 900 3676.”
