Southwark Council are currently reviewing their approach to Community Engagement. This will be done in two stages.
The first stage will look at the vision and principles, and the second will look at the approaches they will use to deliver the vision.
The Council aims to report to Cabinet in April a new vision and the principles that will underpin this. Work on the approaches to delivery will begin after this.
Two workshops have been scheduled - This one on 4 February and the next will be on 12 February where all attendees will discuss what should be the Southwark vision for Community Engagement and what are the key principles that will underpin the way the council will work.
As the dates cover different aspects of engagement, we hope that as many of you as possible will will be able to attend both dates.
4 February - What does good engagement look like? 3pm to 5 pm and again 6pm to 8pm (you will only need to attend one of these)
12 February – What are the ingredients needed to deliver good community engagement? - 3pm to 5pm and again 6pm to 8pm (you will only need to attend one of these) - Cambridge House, 1 Addington Square, Camberwell, SE5 0HF
