Southwark Neighbourhood Watch Association (SNWA) - AGM

If you are part of a Neighbourhood Watch, Tenants and Residents Association, or interested in the safety of your community in Southwark, you are invited to the SNWA AGm meeting on 27th March.

At this meeting, there will also be a discussion on the unfilled vacancies for the honorary posts of Secretary and Treasurer and for a Committee of at least six other Members. These posts will be for three years. Please attend if your are interested in putting yourself forward.

The function of the SNWA:

The SNWA exists to increase public participation in the prevention and detection of crime, promote good citizenship and greater public awareness through neighbourhood and home watch groups, to help increase community safety and reduce the fear of crime, and to improve police / community liaison. For these objectives only, SNWA may represent the interests of its constituents at Southwark Safer Neighbourhood Board, provide services for Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators, and work with police to further these aims.

Now more than ever in the current climate in Southwark, it's important for the SNWA to have full participation and be effective for the safety of our residents.

Light refreshments will be provided according to numbers attending.

Therefore would you be so kind as to let me know as soon as possible or 20th March 2019 the latest.
