Southwark Refugee Response Meeting

The next meeting of Southwark Refugee Response is set for 6-8pm at Southwark Refugee Communities Forum, St Giles Centre, 81 Camberwell Church St, SE5 8RB. If you've never been to one of our meetings before, why not pop along?

As well as finding out how plans for Refugee Week are shaping up (more below), we will be hearing the latest on the first group of Syrian refugee families soon to arrive in Southwark - and discussing how the community can help to ensure they feel welcome and receive the best possible support. We'll also be discussing the impact that the British general election and last night's French presidential result are likely to have on Europe's ongoing refugee crisis.

The meetings really are open to all - so whatever your background, skills and ideas, and whether this is your first volunteer meeting or you're a seasoned veteran - you will be most welcome.

And tea and coffee is provided! We look forward to seeing you there.
